Young Professionals for AIDS Awareness (YPAA) is a committee of young professionals dedicated to the mission of raising awareness and fighting the spread of HIV/AIDS. Through their participation in this group, members will have the opportunity to fundraise by hosting events to benefit the AIDS Center of Queens County, and to volunteer their time, talents and resources to support the agency and its programs. Members will also benefit by having the chance to network socially and professionally within a group of their peers.
Mission Statement
YPAA are young professionals dedicated to the mission of the AIDS Center of Queens County (ACQC) and the fight against HIV and AIDS. The primary purpose of this group is to promote advocacy, awareness, and leadership for the AIDS cause among fellow peers. We commit to this by helping raise funds to support the services provided by ACQC, to increase awareness of ACQC within the local community, and to create an exciting environment where young professionals can gather.
